I had a ge microwave already. This was basically the newest version. Be careful. The mount bracket is a little different and the top screws are in a different spot. And I'm quite annoyed that after it finishes, the light turns off and there is no indication that the wash completed successfully. Yes, I know I can check the app to confirm, but this is annoying to have to reach for my phone when my previous dishwasher simply had an LED that stayed lit to confirm the wash completed properly. Every day I use the dishwasher I'm reminded that Bosch would somehow rather save a tiny tiny amount of energy to shut the dishwasher totally off than leave a little LED lit to confirm that the wash completed. I have kids, and they need to know whether the dishes in the dishwasher are clean or dirty. Without this signal, it makes this harder than it should be. I'm all for saving energy and saving the planet, but not having a "successful completion LED" was a bad engineering decision. Next time, I will be more careful to buy a dishwasher with that feature.. So far so good. Washing great, no noise no “walking” around. It was leveled to the floor with legs screwed all the way to the fame. No bouncing around as its spins. Can’t hear the washer from 10 feet away even if I want to. Large capacity big enough for family of 4. Drum is so big that bought a grabber for laundry items placed on the bottom. You can decide how much water to use to have your laundry done the way you want to not the government. Normal cycle run ~50 minutes. Easy to use with 3 knobs. Find a way to do pre-soaking of laundry with Lysol germs & Covid 19 killer with quick rinse & spin function (wish it was there “pre-soak”) Just load the laundry in, put some Lysol disinfectant directly to the drum on the top of a load & let the machine feel with water, once it’s full just press the pause button & hold on for 20 minutes. Needs 15+ minutes to disinfect. Then press the start button again & let the machine finish it (rinse & drain) After this you can select your regular wash cycle to wash these items. Basket is solid unpainted stainless steel so nothing to peel off. The agitator is dual function with softener cup on the top of it. Not advisable to use softener instead using Lysol disinfectant is better, more practical & healthier. There is separate spot for bleach in the lower left corner of the machine. That’s about it. Hope this helps. With light laundries this machine will last probably 20+ years if treated & cared for right. How to level the machine? Easy, only the front 2 legs need to be adjusted to your needs (best to screw them all the way to the frame) & the back legs will adjust & lock automatically after the machine is tilted forward 4-6” & lowered back to the floor. It is a very nice piece of equipment, with just a few comments. First, the microwave function is very quiet, a plus. However, the internal vent fan is very loud. More to the point, while air blows out the top vent, there is very little flow into the two-under vent portals, not very efficient removing smoke and odors. The control and number pad is very difficult to read in normal light. Either the text needs to stand out more, or ideally it would be better if illuminated. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We went from having no dishwasher to using this GE one and it feels like such a big lifestyle upgrade for us. It fits way more than we expected and we can load full dinner sets with bigger pots and pans without having to play Tetris. The rack layout makes it easier to organize everything and nothing tips over or shifts around. Performance has been solid everytime even with heavier meals, the dishes come out spotless. The auto open dry feature actually makes a difference too since everything comes out dry and ready to put away. It also runs really quiet which I love! It is well built with a stainless steel interior but unfortunately the outside seems like it can but scratched up so be careful! Although it isn’t a big deal to us since it’s just cosmetic.
