My first time booking something like this up and it took about one hour. Used youtube to help put it together. It’s very heavy so I recommend using a bucket to hold it up. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was purchased to replace a similar Bosch unit that finally failed with an inside metal lining burn after 18 years of faithful service. It is a very nice piece of equipment, with just a few comments. First, the microwave function is very quiet, a plus. However, the internal vent fan is very loud. More to the point, while air blows out the top vent, there is very little flow into the two-under vent portals, not very efficient removing smoke and odors. The control and number pad is very difficult to read in normal light. Either the text needs to stand out more, or ideally it would be better if illuminated. These mortise cups set flush in the door and are used on by-passing closet panel doors to provide a pull for ease of opening and closing, and it they are used by many manufacturers. This item includes 2 pulls and 4 nails per package. Installation tip: to avoid damaging the pulls during installation; use a pair of needle nose pliers to hold the nails while hammering, then finish driving the nails with a nail set to seat them in place. Silicone glue may be required if the hole has worn larger.
