Haven’t put food down it yet but it takes gel and water. Installation instructions were confusing because one piece was different than pictured and they are not labled properly. My first time booking something like this up and it took about one hour. Used youtube to help put it together. It’s very heavy so I recommend using a bucket to hold it up. Wayfair delivered the wrong item at first but then sent me the correct one without a hassle. I know I can always count on Wayfair to make it right! They fit 1-3/4 inch to 2 inch wide rails and have a low profile design for a less intrusive look. Each package contains 2 screws and 2 posts. The screw is 2 inch in length and the post is 1/2 inch to install these, 2 Phillips head screwdrivers will be required.

NEEDS RECEIVER! I purchased two wall controls to install on pull chain fans without realizing I also needed the receivers. I wish this was highlighted in the product description.
