My first time booking something like this up and it took about one hour. Used youtube to help put it together. It’s very heavy so I recommend using a bucket to hold it up. Wayfair delivered the wrong item at first but then sent me the correct one without a hassle. I know I can always count on Wayfair to make it right! I have never had a batch disposal before. I have always had the traditional ones that require a switch to turn on. The only real issue (and its not much of one) is with how our sink is in the kitchen island there isn't a good spot to set the plunger when not in use other than in the sink itself. It is powerful and I am really happy how well it does its job. There is no flap that covers the opening to the drain like on traditional disposals. I thought this would be an issue having it open and silverware falling in. With our drain off to the right it really has not been a problem. Although I did have a fork fall into it the fact that the disposals "neck" between the sink and the bottom is long so the fork never fully fell into the disposal it just stood straight up. Also not having that flap covering the disposal makes it much easier to see at a glance if anything has made its way in that should be there. It is noisy but not bad, just as I expected as from traditional. I like the safety of it not turning on unless the plunger is in. We have young kiddos. Just makes me feel better. UPDATE I bought this cord for the range picture above and it absolutely did not work. The cord itself I’m sure is great but not meant for this range. Which I’m not an electrician nor have I installed anything so I’m sure someone with those skills would have noticed prior to ordering this. I did get a refund from Wayfair on this product which was so sweet! I ended up buying a 30-amp rangedryer cord from Lowe’s As for now, I’ll rate this 5 stars because it was extremely fast shipping and it’s undamaged. Im currently waiting for the range that I bought this for (from Wayfair as well) but there’s no shipping information on it even though I bought it at the same as this cord. I bought this to run my iron worker because I didn’t have 3 phase electric. My shops single phase . The directions are decent. I wish someone would make a video on how to adjust the settings that’s the only confusing part . I need 60HZ but my machine is working on the factory 50hz setting so for now that’s where it’s gonna stay. I had to bypass the factory control board & wire it directly to the motor.
