I had a ge microwave already. This was basically the newest version. Be careful. The mount bracket is a little different and the top screws are in a different spot. Really like this microwave. We built an ADU attached to our daughter's house because of my husband's physical limitations, and this microwave is great for a wide variety of cooking. I have to iron every pair of pants that comes out of there (even dry fit comes out wrinkled) and if I didn't refuse to iron T-shirts, those would need be ironed as well. I have a 15 y.o. and 12 y.o. and they adapted to this new microwave with minimal learning curve. I like that the beeping isn't too annoying or aggressive, like some other microwaves out there. We needed this specific size to fit in our wall's cutout, and Bosch is a name that I trust. This was an easy purchase to decide on.
