These are excellent door knobs. Our builder installed Kwikset knobs throughout our home on interior doors and on the exterior doors with Smartkey. When one exterior entry knob failed after a couple of years, Kwikset immediately sent out a replacement. I followed the enclosed instructions and the knob functions perfectly. With the Smartkey function I was able to easily rekey the knob to match my old key. No need to call a locksmith. Didn't even have to bother my husband to replace it! Love these things! Our initial inspection failed, because our contractor had installed other handles with twist-button locks, so I replaced them with these handles with push-button locks - for half the price!
