Replaced an older downdraft system from the 90s, this unit was best for me because beneath the countertop, the motor can be movedpositioned either in front of or behind the unit. When not in use it is flush with the stovetop which helps create a flat seamless flow on the countertop. When we have used it, it works very well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bosch benchmark induction range is a great piece of hardware. I love how fast it brings water to a boil and how well built it appears to be. The glass overhanging the counter is a great feature add too. Downsides: it was very frustrating to install this extremely heavy appliance just to set it up and see that they offered little spacers for the tiny gaps in the back--I didn't get to use them because I would've had to pull the range out again completely. I sticker saying "stop! Before install install spacers" would've been nice! Having a baking drawer like kitchenaid offers would be awesome instead of just a warming drawer on the bottom. And lastly. Temperatures are much easier to contribute than my previous range, and everything I've made in the oven has come out perfectly. If I had to improve anything, it would be two things, I would appreciate dials that were easier to read. The writing on them is small and not hard to see in low light. The other thing is the indicator bell when the oven reaches temperature is faint and it's not as obvious to read when the temperature is reached. But otherwise I love everything about it! I had heard some complaints about the top scratching, but I have not had any problems with that. It still looks perfect after it's cleaned. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase!. Kargo. This hood is quiet, has four exhaust settings, a timer and two adjustable led lights. We needed it to vent out the wall and it was an easy job for our contractor. We have never purchased this brand but are impressed with the exhaust options and styles they offered. Controls are pretty good, however are quite away under the hood. I love the filters as I can take them out and put them in the dishwasher for cleaning.
