I have never had a batch disposal before. I have always had the traditional ones that require a switch to turn on. The only real issue (and its not much of one) is with how our sink is in the kitchen island there isn't a good spot to set the plunger when not in use other than in the sink itself. It is powerful and I am really happy how well it does its job. There is no flap that covers the opening to the drain like on traditional disposals. I thought this would be an issue having it open and silverware falling in. With our drain off to the right it really has not been a problem. Although I did have a fork fall into it the fact that the disposals "neck" between the sink and the bottom is long so the fork never fully fell into the disposal it just stood straight up. Also not having that flap covering the disposal makes it much easier to see at a glance if anything has made its way in that should be there. It is noisy but not bad, just as I expected as from traditional. I like the safety of it not turning on unless the plunger is in. We have young kiddos. Just makes me feel better. This the second toilet seat I have received. I ordered 1 Guinevere 1.28 GPF Floor mounted BIDET with toilet seat. The actual BIDET has yet to be delivered. I contacted Wayfair several days ago about this problem. I as assured the toilet would be delivered by freight. I again received a delivery (today) of another toilet seat only. I am so happy with this faucet. the instructions are a bit lacking, but we were able to figure it out. I would still love better instructions on use. My husband doesn't like that it seems to not have as much pressure as our previous kitchen faucet. It may be because we needed to extend the hoses below to reach. Keep this in mind as you may need to purchase additional hose. I do love the touchless with the temperature showing. I also love the style and color along with the spray controls.
