Instead they send you a different p/n which I have asked to be returned and refunded. It is holding up beautifully — no problems. I paid about $250 more than the current price. So this is a good deal. I feel that it was a good investment and I am happy! I added a larger base at the top that I got somewhere else. It goes under the base of the light to add some more dimension. I really love it so much. The price was incredible, I did lots of research on chandler’s and I still can’t believe how good the price point is (look out for a sale too) The black is a true matte black, I used 40 watt chandler bulbs as they said that’s the highest you can go and it’s nice and bright. I'm really enjoying this so far. I've got it working with SmartThings which means it's working (okay) with Google Home. All five of my RF fans work with this device. I would say signal is sent to those devices correctly 95% of the time. I have found that if I accidentally misclick, it is better if I count to 10 before making the correct choice. Is it perfect? No. But it is extremely helpful. These are things I was ready for, but some other buyers might not be ready for. This is an RF controlling device. While it makes some devices a little easier to use it does not make those devices "smart". If you have someone who likes to use the remotes a lot, the app will show incorrect settings for those devices that have changed with the remote. This does not bug me, but for someone who is not ready for that, make sure you understand what this device is first. I highly recommend Bond. This is an affordable way to use what you already have. Less devices in the landfill for replacements, and a pretty great way to control my devices from my phone.
