I wanted narrow stools to save space and did a ton of shopping around before finding these. Despite the narrow footprint, they are sturdy. The metal base helps anchor them. You’ll just need to put some felt stickers on the feet so they slide softly on the hardwood and they’re perfect. I also love that the stools arrived fully-assembled, so I couldn’t mess things up. Very attractive and comfortable stools. I was looking for something that has a seat 2 inches higher than most 24-inch counter stools. It took an hour for two of us to assemble the two stools. The instructions were typical: numbered sketches without specific worded directions, so it did require some thinking and common sense.
