Looks nice and clean in our newly renovated master bath. I purchased this at a time it seemed like I couldn’t find the right door size anywhere, including the big box stores. Relatively easy to install, my husband had it in within an hour or so. We had to manually trim the sill with a saw to fit the entrance. Taking one star off because the two side panels come up higher than the actual shower door and it just looks odd, almost unfinished. Excellent value! With free shipping, this item was shipped fast and arrived with no damage. There are four boxes, one box for each glass section, a box for the hardware, and a tube container for the plastic stopper. The weight and thickness of the glass is impressive. Be careful and measure the shower accurately. I was concerned about the door being the correct size, but it fit like a glove. It's a two person job to install. The online installation video is VERY helpfull and EZ to follow. For me, the drilling of the holes was the hardest part. I needed four tile drill bits to make eight holes. My suggestion, add one more green tile anchor as a spare. I wasted one because it would not go into the drill hole and was damaged. So far so good. Install was relatively easy, but because of its size, having a few extra folks to help hold it in place would be a good idea. My wife and I managed, but it was a bit tricky for just us 2 folks to install and we almost gave up. The gesture control seems a bit finicky, and we can't get it to work reliably. Maybe with time we'll figure it out. The buttons work fine though, and the remote control is a nice touch. The stainless-steel finish, display, and led lights look great. Definitely an upgrade from the Broan powerpack it replaced. As far as noise, it seems to be as loud as our old Broan PM350 we replaced. The grates tend to vibrate a little, so that with the fan contributes to the noise. I was hoping for something quieter, but it's no worse than the unit it replaced, so not a deal breaker. As for airflow, it seems a bit stronger than the broan unit it replaced, which was rate for only 350cfm. This one is rated at 900cfm at max speed, but i don't have a way to measure/confirm that. The fan cage seems bigger, and it's been doing a good job so far of keeping the smells/vapors out of the kitchen while cooking. Time will tell if it holds up, but so far, we've been impressed with the build quality. Added the extra warranty just in case.. Tejesh. US. Fri Nov 29 2024
