The electrical work is easy, you just plug into an outlet. There is a battery (included) for if you ever lose power. Note that will only allow the toilet to flush. The heat, automatic flush and cleaning needs power. What I love is the automaticity of everything. The sensor recognizes when you walk in and the lid opens and the blue light comes on. The remote allows you to place it where convenient. It also allows you to choose your flush, heat seat level, and clean. There is a foot sensor so you can raise the seat, if needed. Have been wanting a bidet for a while and our bathroom is white, black and gray so I was super happy to find this one in black! It comes with many features including washing, drying, heating and also includes a night light and remote.
