The queen-sized frame will have five (5) legs with the included center bar. The center bar for this frame is used side-to-side for queen bedding. I would give this base 5 stars but it is a bit wobbly, but my husband is going to be able to fix it once we get help from the manufacture. The directions are brief and do give an email address to get help. The reason we needed to buy this base was because after 1 year and two weeks the Kelly Clarkson table we bought from Wayfair cracked at the base rendering it useless. Wayfair would not make good on the table as it was 2 weeks over the year warranty but did give us a $50 gift certificate plus 10% of a purchase so we bought this base which makes the table look ten times better then the Clarkson base.
