Like others said, you don’t “sink” into it, at least not while it’s still new. I’m about 5’3” and on the heavier side and there’s plenty of room for both me and my cat. If you’re leaning towards it, definitely give it a try. You can’t beat it for the features (nice recline angle, glides, and fully swivels).
