I was really surprised to see that it had these grey stoppers on the edge of the bed, keeping the mattress in place. That is such a plus for me. Love the simplicity of the bed. Its high enough for under bed storage which is great since its in a small room. I think it comes in other sizes but the 14" worked for me. No box spring or bed slats needed.
