The gazebo is really nice. The instructions were fairly easy to follow. The only issue was when we unpacked the boxes, there were several panels, windows and a screen that were damaged. It was disappointing to spend so much for damaged materials. The manufacturer did agree to send replacement parts and Wayfair was monitoring the communications, so we felt like we had some insurance. Overall, it's a nice gazebo and the manufacturer made good on the damaged parts. We've been enjoying it and getting plenty of compliments while waiting for the new parts to arrive.. Brian. After buying canvas topped gazebos in the past, I finally made a decision to get the aluminum patio gazebo. This is the second one we have purchased, one was a gift and we liked it so much we purchased this for us. it’s incredibly sturdy. I was delighted that the roof has 3 hook areas for lighting, plants or wind chimes. The only thing that I would say to the negative is that it took an inordinate amount of time during setup to peel the protective film off the aluminum top pieces perhaps maybe they could do something more with a different protection that could be easily removed but other than that, we love it.. This is very expensive but the description says plexiglass and it turns out to be like a hard plastic which is very flimsy to the touch. The product is of very good quality. It appears as it does in the pictures and it is sturdy. It rained fairly last night. With all the doors closed, the gazebo is very waterproof. Overall, I am very satisfied with the product itself. My biggest complaint comes from the installation part. They sent me two sets of instructions, one for an open, same size gazebo and one for the extra parts for the gazebo (the wall panels, doors, etc.) We followed the instructions to put the gazebo up, and we ended up having to take many things down. Moreover, instructions are not very clear. The entire installation took multiple people over two days. I wished they had provided an installation video with all steps clearly laid out.. Fiona. Now that it's installed, I'm VERY happy with the overall look and quality of the gazebo. It's attractive, sturdy and a nice addition to my back yard. I do feel obligated to give a mild warning to prospective buyers: - When the instructions say 2+ people are required at certain stages they mean it. DON'T do what I did (assembled the posts and beams upside down and flipped it over). Ripped bolt anchors, bent metal, lots of cursing. All fixable but not a good time. - The instructions only include pictures and there were more than a couple times I interpreted them incorrectly . I ended up having to remove and re-install parts after having that "ah-hah" moment . Not the end of the world but it adds time. - Nuts and bolts are made of soft metal. You WILL have lots of stripped bolts if you use a power drill ( a must if you want to speed things up) and are not super careful. Good news is Sojag provides lots of extra parts. But... - Having so many extra parts means you'll constantly second guess whether your missing something; especially since there are holes that don't need anything. Don't be surprised if you have a sandwich bag full of random parts at the end. In spite of these minor issues, I love my new Gazebo.. Anonymous. Sun Apr 05 2026
