These are very nice curtain rods. They arrived safely with no damage to the glass finials. The color is a nice matte gold, not shiny at all. The brackets were a bit hard to put up because mine is a historic home and the walls are solid wood. The provided screws just weren't strong enough to go through the wood, even with a drilled pilot hole. After changing screws to some wood screws we already had the brackets went in place easily.
