Nice shoe cabinet. There was one missing bolt and Wayfair was quick to respond and sent several replacement parts. My flat shoes, like Keds fit good. Four to five pair per compartment. My husband’s shoes don’t fit very well. Only two pair per compartment. We added legs to make it sit up higher than our baseboard trim for a closer wall fit. The cabinet fit exactly where I wanted it to and does exactly what I want it to do - good things! It had been very, very difficult to find exactly what I wanted. It seems sturdy and took a couple of hours to put together. It does not look expensive or luxurious. There are stickers to cover nail holes, and the wood is thin and inexpensive looking when you look closely. However, it does look pretty good if you don't look too closely, and it absolutely works I think you're getting what you're paying for, and after hours searching over many days, I'm glad to have found something that works!. Beautiful cabinet but I did not use for shoes. Trying to clean out husbands hang up clothes. Like many people too many clothes. Brilliant idea to fold my husband’s t-shirts, shorts sweat clothes. A regular book case didn’t work because shelves were too deep totally wrinkled them up. And there are more shelves on this shoe rack. From picture, I am even trying to hang VFW shirts on wall.. This cabinet is really attractive and goes well with my kitchen cabinets. I will be changing the hardware to match the cabinets. I put this together by myself. Construction went well, though you need to look really close at the picture to understand what screw goes in what hole. A few words with the directions would’ve been helpful. My shoes fit well and my husband’s size 10 shoes fit good too. The middle board will have to be removed when using for winter ankle boots. Overall, the cabinet looks nice once assembled and works well for the space, so I decided to keep it rather than return it. However, the assembly process was frustrating. Several of the pre-drilled holes had small hairline cracks in the wood, and there were areas where the paint was scratched or missing right out of the box. I’ve assembled quite a bit of prefab furniture before, so I was able to figure it out, but the directions were honestly some of the worst I’ve seen. The hardware was all thrown together in one bag with little to no labeling, and the instructions/pictures were very unclear. Most prefab furniture labels hardware and boards clearly, but this did not, which made assembly much more difficult than it needed to be.
