This patio bench is made of High-density polyethylene (HDPE),which resists cracking, breaking, and peeling. The color is long-lasting and won't fade or dull. They look like new, even after a few years of use! The backrest of our bench is not totally straight, a slightly tilted angle provides good support for your back.

Nice bench. I was able to put the bench together myself, but I deducted a star because it would have been easier if the pictures on the instructions were larger and clearer. I have one of these that was frozen with rust. I had to hacksaw the rod and then drill it out. I replaced the rod with a 5/16 stainless steel bolt after threading the base and sharpening the head end. I did the same, with the new one, to eliminate the problem.
