Acrylic tubs are light, but often do not retain heat well, this one happens to have an insulation option. Bingo! I wanted an air tub with white drain hardware, those were options here too. I wanted a sleek modern aesthetic with room for two, this unit fit the bill. I needed adjustable feet so that I could get water to flow underneath the tub in a wet room, that was another yes here. I had a really specific wish list, and this thing met it all! We're still in the middle of install, but the quality of this unit appears very promising. The Royal’s main feature is the U-shape door made from custom brushed stainless steel with a frosted tempered glass window. The door swings into the bathtub to give bathers more interior space as they enter/exit. Size: 31.75 in. x 52.25 in. x 38 in. (fits standard 60 in. opening with extension panel). The 5-Piece fast-fill (18GPM based on plumbing conditions) faucet has: 2 temperature levers, a diverter lever, a mounted faucet and a pull out multi-functional hand shower. While the tub fills, enjoy the comfort of the Heated Seat & Backrest. The Royal also comes with Ella's Dual Drain Technology- the fastest gravity driven drain in the industry. The sleek door is designed in the center of the tub, which establishes a vertical tub wall and creates a wider interior floor space opposed to that of a standard curvature wall. This, along with a low step-in threshold and textured floors, may reduce the chances of tripping and slipping when standing in, showering, and entering/exiting the tub. The 5-Piece fast-fill faucet has: 2 temperature levers, a diverter lever, a mounted faucet and a pull out multi-functional hand shower. The hot/cold lever controls the temperature and the third lever diverts water between the mounted faucet and handshower. It has a fill rate of 18 GPM, based on plumbing conditions. The Laydown 32” x 72” comes with our Single 2” Drain with emergency pull up chain, consisting of two 2” outlets and an overflow. The Air Jet Massage System includes an air pump with a 3-speed variable push control, strategically positioned air jets for optimal therapeutic relief, and an auto-purge to maintain an air system free of any build ups. The tub has 24 air jets to create a gentle massage. These fixed, flat jets provide relief to your back, hips, thighs, foot, and legs.
