I’m not sure why other reviews said that these were flimsy. Maybe they weren’t installed correctly. My husband did a great job installing these. We have blackouts and sheers on them. I am so excited to find an item that I can use to easily hang my curtains from the ceiling! What a gamechanger. It can be so hard to find a curtain rod that I can use over the blinds that are on our slider and this does the trick. It was no big deal to get it assembled and mounted. For the best shading effect, choose a 36-72 inch rod size if the window width is between 24 inches and 68 inches; If the window width is in the 69 "to 140" range, select the 72 "to 144" rod size.
