I should have looked more thoroughly at the specs before purchasing. The adjustable pole is not long. It limits the kind of chair you can use. If you have a beautician style chair with a solid base, you won’t be able to roll the wheels under. You need a chair that has legs or wheels that allow a gap big enough for the base of the dryer to fit under. I received my Dyson Air Purifier/ Humidifier as a tenure gift from my employer. I’ve had it about 7 weeks and very happy with my selection. I use it in my small 10x10 bedroom and it makes the room significantly cooler and the air fresher. It is very quiet and does not bother my sleeping at all. I did have some concerns with the humidifier not working, but after a little online research I didn’t have the humidity setting high enough.
