The travertine is beautiful. The glow is soft and lovely. I bought two, one for each nightstand. Like others have said, the off-center globe is a little odd and the cord can’t be hidden if you want to give the illusion of it lining up. I love this modern style lamp. I used a smart bulb with it so I can change the colors and it looks amazing. It fully lights the globe without showing the lightbulb through it.
