The hamper was larger than expected but still fit in the space I had for it. It was very easy to put together, but I’m concerned about the plastic pipes that hold the hamper up. The hamper is beautiful and the material feels nice. The biggest drawback is that it doesnt hold its shape unless its half full. You can never just drop a blanket in the bag. You need 2 hands to open it and then fill it. It does make it way less functional. I fell for the look, bit wish I had held out for something that stands up on its own. I really like the Brabentia laundry hamper in the black color. It replaced an old white plastic basket type hamper like you might have used in college or at a public laundromat. The Brabantia handles a larger load even though it has a small footprint due to the vertical design. It fits perfectly in my small laundry room. The laundry is hidden inside which is what I wanted compared to the previous open basket. It's more expensive than some hampers, but it looks very stylish and modern. So, it's worth the higher price.
