These are nice and heavy and seem quite well made for the money. About a third of the price of an Emtek Stuttgart lever, which looks very similar, and is made of solid forged brass. I wish Emtek would describe the materials and construction used for these less-expensive pieces branded "Expressions by Emtek." Are they solid metal? Zinc? Etc. These are the best out there. Not the cheap big box store stuff. Expensive but solid. I’ve had this handle throughout my house for 15 years. Other than a little lubricant every decade, they are still has strong and tight as when they were first installed. I just replaced a few of them that were in high use areas where the oil rubbed bronze finish had worn off a little. But that is the only issue we have faced for more than 15 years. This entry set has been working great for us. We love having a lever instead of a knob. The only thing is that my husband had to create a notch at a different location and shape for our prehung door, because the one provided did not line up with the location that was pre-notched on our door frame.
