The hook-and-loop straps that were included were a nice inclusion, I am glad they came with something, but they did not secure my laptop. I wound up replacing those straps with a thin nylon strap with D rings. That way I could pull the strap tight to ensure that the laptop would stay put. The only thing I don't like is that the stand goes up and down, but there's no capability to change the actual angle of the projector/tray. You can only use it flat. We really love the desk, especially the rollout keyboard tray. The issues when putting it together was when connecting the bottom base to the two side bars. The tolerances are so tight I had a problem placing the side bars into base. Also, the wrench to connect the wheels to the base was missing.
