This chair is very comfortable with the pad on and seems durable. It seems well-built and I like the sturdy look of it. The pad cover is soft and the color is the perfect shade of gray. Also you have to take ALL of the individual down pods out instead of just unzipping around the entire pad, as each section of the pad cover is filled with cotton/artificial down and stitched individually.
