For the price it is worth it. The assembly was a little difficult with getting the screws to go for the second and third shelf, while trying to hold the pieces in place to line up the holes. The holes are very tight fitting, so a couple of screws almost didn't go in. I was on the floor using my all my limbs to do get this thing together. I had a ratchet allen wrench to do this assembly, if not, it wouldn't have worked out. I can understand why some people gave up. Forget trying to use the allen wrench that comes with it. It's very sturdy once together. There were two tiny chips off of the paint on one piece, but I can fix that. Overall, it works perfectly for displaying my pottery, so I like it.. Lucia. This is a lovely piece to compliment an empty wall space. However, there are a few things we were a little disappointed with. The instructions say it's easy to put together, and should be done in an hour. Maybe for the professionals. For my husband, and I (yes you do need 2 people to assemble), it took over two hours. The instructions are all in pictures, and no words so while it was easy to figure out what went where, we still had to double check we were using the correct amount of hardware for each piece. We assumed it was only for pieces to put together. Not the case- it's more than 4, less than 20. Also usually furniture comes with 'caps' to lay over the screws so it looks finished. There were no 'caps' included. So while the end product is quite lovely, we will be very careful if we order again since we do not want to have to put anything together. This is a beautiful piece. The finish on the metal is very high end, not brassy gold, but just a beautiful aged/darker finish. It's light weight and would've been very easy to put together if the following were added to the instructions: 1. take the 2 glass pieces away and put them aside until you're finished assembling (yes, sounds like common sense, but this think is packed with the glass pieces already inserted into the frames. 2. Do NOT completely tighten the bolts holding on the top until after you have also attached the shelf piece. If you attach AND tighten the top, it'll be tough to squeeeze the shelf into place. It really wasn't so hard, but less than stellar instructions are my pet peave. Also, I seem to be missing one of those tiny rubbery bubbles that cushions the glass in the corner. I will message the company about that, and I'm sure it won't be an issue. All in all, this is a FANTASTIC price on this item.
