I would have given 5 stars because I really like these corbels, but there were some nicks and chips that I had to fill and sand before painting. Otherwise, these were exactly what I was looking for to use with my custom built fireplace mantel. Solid wood with a nice traditional design. Crown moulding adds a beautiful finish to elegant rooms. To get this look you would simply hire a professional to figure out and install all of the complicated miter cuts. This made the cost of crown moulding more expensive as this method can be labor intensive. Not anymore. Our moulded inside and outside corners make installation a breeze. Very beautiful. they are like a foam substance but are really for show. I might use one to hold a very small shelf. My main use is to decorate cat walk to look a little classic around corner of wall. Lightweight polyfoam sconce made a great indoor shelf. There was no mounting on the back to enable hanging however my husband drilled 2 keyholes in the back and hung it with 2 wall anchor screws to ensure it stays level. It's a beautiful gray chair. I've only seen it in the box, because only 1 of the 2 I ordered was shipped and no one communicated to me that only one was arriving today (Friday) and that it would be 1-3 business days (doesn't include the weekend that I'll be without a chair) before the warehouse might search for it and let me know where my missing $1500 chair is. All correspondence leading up to today indicated 2 chairs would be arriving. So I don't know if they even have one or I'll be able to get the other one and don't know if I should even take this one out of the box. I already had my furniture donated and just have a box in my family room and someone might let me know something (whether I should go ahead and unbox this chair, because I will indeed get 2) by Wed of next week. So while the furniture, still in the box, is lovely, I recommend you, if at all possible, buy from your local furniture store. If they don't have all the furniture you ordered, they'll let you know, before a partial delivery happens and I'm sure they have better communication with the warehouses and can find out where a missing $1500 chair is for you that day and don't leave customers high and dry like Wayfair just did to me.
