I really like this desk. I think its great. However, I only recommended it for those ready for the technical and physical challenges and have the skills, time, and patience for assembling things like this. The instructions describe the general order of assembly and are insufficient on certain details. It comes in five boxes, so be sure to do a complete inventory before starting. I spent more than 24 hours (with break times) for unpacking, inventory, and assembly, including getting the drawers and doors operating smoothly to running, wrapping, and placement of power, video, and data cables so that they are just right. A replacement (from TX) was ordered and arrived not boxed with corner protectors/top and bottom cardboard pieces completely damaged and unusable. A second replacement came (from TX) and arrived in even worse condition (both tops had screws missing and screw holes stripped so won't stay on with screws provided, cracks on all sides, dents, etc.). I asked for a return label so whomever can inspect and see how badly damaged they are coming from TX. Third replacement sent from New Jersey or maybe Virginia- I cannot remember. Arrived in perfect condition like the first did. Customer service could not be better, but I'd call to order this piece with customer service and beg that it comes NOT from Texas. Love the two working ones and recommend 100%... again, if not arriving from Texas! I'm sharing damaged photos of last one sent, but not of two we kept, b/c they fit description perfectly.. Christina. Very happy with this desk—it was a great purchase. The wood finish looks beautiful in person and gives a warm, high-quality feel that makes my workspace look much more put together. It’s very spacious, which is perfect for my setup with dual monitors and other essentials. I also really liked the L-shape design and the drawers; it gives me plenty of room to work while keeping everything within reach. Assembly was a bit challenging but I found an assembly YouTube video which helped a lot and made things much clearer. I was able to assemble it completely on my own. The desk feels very sturdy and looks even better than expected. Overall, I would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for something stylish, functional, and reasonably priced.. Abigail. These closet systems are a great color. Assembly was VERY time consuming. We ended up hiring a contractor to assemble and install them. The assembly time indicated was grossly underestimated. The curtain rods that are inside of the main portion of the system doesn’t have enough room to hang a simple shirt. They should have been mounted above the shelf and the shelf should have been removed all together. It is definitely more cheaply made that previous systems we have had.
