We purchased this for a new home build that had a slide in range in an island. We did not want an exhaust hood that hung down from the ceiling and this one was perfect for a flush mount in the ceiling. It was priced considerably less than other brands that had white glass finishes. There are a couple discoveries we made however. It did not turn on once the power was brought to the new build. We called Awoco and were told to check in the black box under the stainless grill, for a white connection that sometimes is disconnected. That solved the problem and the unit lit up and worked with the remote and the voice commands. Customer service was very helpful and seemed to know exactly what to look for. There is one other thing to be aware of with the voice command, occasionally it picks up what it believes to be a request for action and starts talking, asking for directions. We thought we were hearing voices until we realized it was the exhaust fan talking. This drop-in kitchen sink is made with heavy thick premium 16 Gauge T304 stainless steel (18/10 Chromium/Nickel) - 37% thicker than most standard kitchen sinks, which is with high strength, wear resistance, heat dissipation, easy to clean and use long-lasting.

Order was placed and in our possession within 2 days. I chose this as a drop in option, finding standing water on the deck of undermounts roaches the manufactured stone top. The stainless steel deck should fix that. Not a fan of single sinks but the accessories and how the ledge is incorporated to seat them will make prep work more streamline. Ill most likely find an appropriately sized wash basin for cleanups as we watch our water consumption (on a well). This was my 2nd open box Wayfair purchase, both came as new.
