This dehumidifier keeps my 700 sq foot apartment humidity levels below 50% -- if not on, the humidity climbs to the high 70s! It's not very loud--just a little white noise in the background that doesn't interfere with TV, music, conversations, etc. I do have to empty the tank every day (sometimes 2x), but it's easy to take out and dump in my sink so not a problem. My previous dehumidifier was the smaller version and ran continuously for almost a year, but then stopped working. I was refunded the amount I paid for that one, and in turn bought this one. It’s soft and not too bright, but it does change the feel a bit, especially in the evening. You may not notice it at first, but once you sit in, it adds to the experience. With a 50-gallon capacity, you get enough depth for a good soak. You don’t have to keep shifting around to get comfortable. The center drain also keeps things balanced, so it fits easily in different setups. At the end of the day, this bathtub is simple to use.
