We’ve been really impressed with this patio set so far. It looks much more expensive than it actually is and fits perfectly on our patio without taking up too much space. The chairs and loveseat are surprisingly comfortable, and the table is the perfect size for drinks, snacks, or just relaxing outside in the evenings. The powder-coated steel frame feels sturdy, and the Textilene material is great because it dries quickly and is easy to clean after rain or pollen. Assembly took a little time, but once everything was put together it felt solid and stable. Overall, this is an awesome value for the price and completely transformed our outdoor space. Got this gazebo to replace one that was damaged after a heavy snow that had a fabric top. It’s definitely withstood snow and some high winds on occasion during the winterspring in East Tennessee. You need AT LEAST two people to put it together, three is better. After buying canvas topped gazebos in the past, I finally made a decision to get the aluminum patio gazebo. This is the second one we have purchased, one was a gift and we liked it so much we purchased this for us. it’s incredibly sturdy. I was delighted that the roof has 3 hook areas for lighting, plants or wind chimes. The only thing that I would say to the negative is that it took an inordinate amount of time during setup to peel the protective film off the aluminum top pieces perhaps maybe they could do something more with a different protection that could be easily removed but other than that, we love it.. This is a beautiful gazebo. The instructions are in pictures so if you need words for direction you are out of luck. It took my husband and I a total of 24 hours to put it together and he is a mechanic. The total time was partially because of our unusual placement in which the gazebo extends further than our patio space. Also, we secured the front posts in an unconventional manner by placing them in large pots which were then filled with heavy materials. There are what seems like millions of screws and other pieces. There were quite a few "disagreements" while assembling this item which was entertaining for the neighbors. We both agreed that if anyone ever asks us to help them build a gazebo we will politely decline. All parts were present but we made sure of this prior to starting the build. There were a few times that we could have used the help of another person when building the frame but stepladders helped immensely. This gazebo perfectly complements my garden entertainment area. I managed to assemble it myself in just two days, thanks to the easy-to-follow instructions. Although some pages took a bit longer to decipher, the overall process was straightforward. The finish is incredibly durable, and nothing seemed to get scratched during shipping or while assembling it. The bronze brown color adds a beautiful touch to my garden. There are hooks on the top center for hanging a fan or lighting. I feel it’s very sturdy and will withstand the wind where I live. My only complaint is that it appears shorter than expected. After searching and researching for over a month, I decided to go with a Purple Leaf 12x18 Hardtop Gazebo. I had two friends who are contractors by trade install the gazebo. It took them approx 10 hours. They stated even with 7 boxes this gazebo was the easiest, nicest and best well made gazebo they have installed. The gazebo looks high class so worth the money. I did notice a few scratches in the pillars once the boxes were open, since they were near the ground, I figured it was fine. Miy order was place Thursday, July 3 and I received all 7 boxes on Tuesday, July 8. Overall, I love my new outdoor space and I can not wait to add to it. I just wish Purple Leaf made more accessories to fit the gazebo. For instance, a permanent privacy wall, other designs of temporary privacy walls, tv mounts, bar counter to connect to a pillar, heaters, and or different types of curtain walls.. Susan.
