This cart is just the right size for a small “kitchen island” it’s a landing spot when I’m pulling multiple items out of the refrigerator and a good place to set up drinks or plates and utensils when we are entertaining. Nice quality piece of furniture. The granite top looks darker online, but like another customer stated, could be just the differences in the natural granite. Mine was more of a light cream colored. I purchased the kitchen island in the European Cherry, and it smells like it was just stained prior to it being shipped. It is beautiful and worth every penny! I am using it as a coffee station. What you don't see in these pictures, because I have this up against a wall, is that there is another set of cabinet doors on the other side so that you can get to the cabinet on either side of this kitchen island. The only disappointment was the man said he only gets 40.00 for his work. I think that is shameful. Bought two of these in cherry with the stainless steel top. Came in three packages, all in good shape, with no damage to contents. The stainless top comes with a plastic shrink wrap to protect it, which is a bit tedious to remove, but keeps the top from getting scratched. Assembly was easy, and despite the deliberately loose dowels, goes together fairly well. My only complaint is that one of top drawers doesn't slide in straight. It's not too bad, but could be better. Wood, European Cherry

We like this cart but the granite top is not secured to the bottom half of the island. Also, the cabinet doors don't close properly so we've tried to adjust the hinges and one side is fine but we can't seem to get the other side to close without the doors rubbing each other.
