This is my second attempt at buying/using an ice maker. The first time I never worked and that’s bc it was a very poorly ventilated mobile home in Florida and the heat was too much. Now, I’m in a ‘regular’ home and thought I’d give it another’s try with this model and low and behold, this thing cranks out the ice non-stop and you don’t need to stand their while it’s doing it but it helps bc you do want to put the ice in your freezer - I used a metal mixing bowl and filled it to the top in mere minutes. Came well packaged and in perfect . So far, so good! Plugged it in last night and the temp is holding steady at 34° - oops time to turn it up to 37°! We did remove one rack as it seemed crowded, but I can see how all the racks are helpful if you plan to fill it up with drinks etc. Love the basket at the bottom as it provides additional options for storage..
