The reason for a 4-star rating is I have not really started using it but it appears it is going to serve the purpose for which I intended…more counter space, room for my granddaughters to join me in craft-making, and not overly big.. The color, listed as black, is more of a very deep matte charcoal gray. But I actually like it a lot. It was kind of a puzzle to put together because there are no words in the instructions, only pictures. There were a few steps that I had to take apart and redo but I got the whole thing put together in under 2 hours. I feel it was adequate build time for this type of item.
