While it makes some devices a little easier to use it does not make those devices "smart". If you have someone who likes to use the remotes a lot, the app will show incorrect settings for those devices that have changed with the remote. This does not bug me, but for someone who is not ready for that, make sure you understand what this device is first. I highly recommend Bond. This is an affordable way to use what you already have. This desk is very nice. I had to work with the manufacturer to get new legs and a motor (as the top rose at different speeds). I received them and the desk is awesome.
