My partner and I have been using this split frame for a few months now and we love it. This is our first hollow box spring after living with an old coil box spring for so long. Though there are definitely differences, we sleep just as well on it. For reference, the two of us on our queen double pillow top mattress with four additional mattress tops are roughly 650lbs all together. This split frame easily holds all of the combined weight. In my photo you can see the 4 inch box spring that I chose for my queen bed. I'm so glad I didn't go with the 2-in nor the 6-in, this one falls right in the middle and is just right for me.
