I am incredibly impressed with the finished product . It took me about 4.5 hours to assemble. A lot of that time consisted of the screws and such needed to piece it together. My intention is to use this on the days that I work from home and I love it. The locksmith came to install the lock and we discovered that two of the four batteries that came with the unit were dead. I called Wayfair's great customer service folks, who are sending out four fresh batteries. Normally this would not be an issue but I have never seen these batteries before. They are CR 123A 3V lithium batteries. In researching these, the internet says the batteries should have a 10-year shelf life, I don't know why they would be dead. The lock seems sturdy and very well made. I have three other keypad locks that take AA batteries and I am constantly replacing them. When I get power on the lock I will update my review.. Brenda. I am very pleased, it feels sturdy. Caution, the box with the frame is much heavier than expected, but you can tell quality went into the making. Didn't have to program the motors or calibrate them. The cup holder is a nice touch for sure! I do wish it came with a PC tower holder, but there was room on top for the desktop. I am a developer, not a gamer, but it's perfect for my setup! The price is higher than many of the others but I chose this one, because the top is a solid piece and not split like a majority of the others. I’ve been through at least 5 different door locks and not one of them has held up like this one has. Installation was easy and quick, mostly because I’ve done this a few times already. The reason for 4 stars is because sometimes my fingerprint doesn’t work. I then have to type in the passcode when I was to lock and unlock the door. I also wish it came with 2 keys instead of one but that’s not a deal breaker. I don’t really use the app, but it’s there if I need it.
