I bought two of these rugs after looking for some time. I have used them on my covered porch for two spring /summer seasons. I am very happy with the durability and it is lovely. Would definitely order again and again. The colour is neutral and gives a "jute rug" vibe however the rug is soft (flat pile). I have not experienced any issues with the threads or staining. It has been wet and dries fairly quickly. Not certain I would install in areas that are not protected as it is not on the cheaper side and would be concerned the elements may damage it. It was packaged so well that it took a couple minutes to cut through all the plastic wrapped around it. It was very easy to roll out and put into place. Amazingly soft and beautiful rug! I did a deep dive on the rug and color before choosing to purchase it for my bedroom. The reviews and images definitely helped. The images, like mine skew a bit darker but when I opened the package, it is beautiful hued brown. The images pick up the darker lights but trust me, it’s a lovely brown-beige hued rug. I purchased this rug to use under a mat on my front porch. The mat is not a true black. It is a charcoal color with light gray. My mat is black and looked too dark on this rug so now will be looking for a charcoal mat. The material is very nice, arrived rolled, and layed flat immediately. It is light weight so should be anchored with furniture or a mat to keep in place. It is well made. I have just received it so we shall see if it fades as my porch gets the afternoon sun. I bought this rug two years ago in a 5x7 and have wanted it in a bigger size for an adjacent room for a long time. I finally found it at a great price here on wayfair. It arrived quickly and was well packaged. It rolled out flat immediately and has no smell. I’m not experiencing any shedding. It’s soft under my feet and the color variations and texture are just gorgeous. It will match any neutral decor. I don’t have a rug pad under it.
