Have used this supper automatic expresso machine for a while now and can say it does the job for me. I do not like expresso coffee at all and that is not why I purchased this machine. I may make very good expresso, but I do not drink that and cannot speak to that. However, I do like Americano and Latte, and it makes those and other milk-based drinks very well. The machine is extraordinarily well made and designed. Good clean looks and fits well with our other KitchenAid appliances. It has all the features we need to fit our full family needs and is a great addition to our kitchen as a whole. This refrigerator replaced a 22 year old Artica GE Side by Side. I had kept the Artica going for all these years, but got tired of the defrost heater burning out what I consider to be too often? I purchased OEM one's, but the last one lasted about 14 months and it was a GE one. Don't know why they don't last any better? Anyway said goodbye to the old girl that served us pretty well for those 22 years. The ice maker had failed and had developed an internal leak I could not find and fix, so we lived without that for several of it's last years. Now, this new one is HUGE at 28.3 The old one was about 25 cu. ft. Actually, I hated the dark tunnel of the Artica Side by Side. Could not find things back in there! This new one is great from that standpoint with the lighted back panel, you can see everything in there. Like the convertible part and the drawers in the freezer section. I've read that the ice makers in GE refrigerators are troublesome compared to other brands? I hope it is trouble free, but all of that is unknown just after purchase and setup. The old Artica was built like a tank. The shelving was sturdy. This new one has shelving and door trays that are a bit less robust. I hope they stand up as well as the old Profile Artica? This is a pretty good coffee machine. I like all the functions. The milk frother works really well. The only issue with it is sometimes it doesn’t always detect the pod or thinks there is a pod in it when there isn’t. When brewing just a cup of coffee sometimes it thinks there is milk to froth when I’m not frothing any milk. I have to pick up the milk frother first and then it brews. I love this fridge. It looks sleek and the middle drawer is super convenient. We use it for drinks not as vegetable drawer. The fridge is smaller but works fine for 2 people. The fridge is very sleek and well laid out to maximize the small space. Definitely has a few cons - the drawers feel flimsy. The middle freezer drawer tends to get stuck and we have to lift the other drawers to get it to go back in. Having had great performance from Bosch ovens and dishwashers previously, we opted for a Bosch refrigerator for our new home. In general, performance has been good, and we appreciate the layout and features. Our one issue (which recurred just yesterday) is an occasional refusal to make ice. No warning, no sign of trouble until one notices that the tray sounds emptying, and finally a notification in the app that we have an "Empty ice tray." Not helpful at that point. Only solution seems to be removing power for a brief period to totally reboot the fridge.
