I guess I have a slightly older Kohler sink. It came with this really bad silicone bottom. I finally took the time to research the size and type to get the metal rack for the bottom of the sink. I was skeptical that I got the right one, but the measurement said that it fit. I’m incredibly happy that I got it because the silicone one was so gross. This is Kohler OEM style, so it’s exactly what you would think. It sits pretty flush in the sink itself. The power on the Fotile range hood is excellent. For most cooking, I stay on the first 2 out of 3 fan settings. For high smoke activities such as seasoning a wok or searing steak, the 3rd settings is more than enough to suck up all the fumes. The fan speeds are all pretty quiet. Great looking sink, short apron saved us from having to adjust existing base cabinet doors below it. We hired someone to install it, they built a platform to hold the sink added boards for additional support on the sides. Love the modern look with clean lines. Removed one star because water tends to pool on the surface, sides get water spots, corners are square I worry about keeping it clean in the long run - basically all the drawbacks to having a zero radius sink.
