An attractive sink at a good price. This is a fireclay sink, which means it is fired at a lower temperature than a porcelain sink, but at a higher temperature than a ceramic sink. Higher temps increase hardness and durability. This becomes apparent as this sink will stain if left soiled overnight, unlike a porcelain sink which you can rinse and wipe clean. It is not a big deal as it does come clean with some bleach cleaner and a sponge. I am happy overall. Note: I bought a sturdy stainless steel sink grid, not included, to protect the bottom from nicks and scratches (~$50), which I recommend. Can be used as a trivet or a cooling rack as well.. The sink is reversibly glazed on all sides so you may choose to have the small bowl on the left or right side. All the rage because of its personality and function. It combines ease of use and durability. Finished in a glossy bright white glaze. All dimensions for fireclay sinks are nominal due to shrinking during the firing process. For this reason, we recommend waiting to receive your actual sink before purchasing a cabinet or making cuts to countertops. Dimensions will vary by up to .25 inches.

Nantucket Sinks' is a new workstation sink addition to our Cape collection. By popular demand, we offer this dual-mount fireclay kitchen sink. A large single bowl design, it can be installed with the drain on the left or right side. The top edge of the sink is finished with white porcelain enamel glaze so it can be reveal-mounted. The built-in ledge holds the included cutting board and saves you space. There are many benefits to fireclay, it is friendly in its need for less cleansers and its natural material. The wide basin is a bit larger than your average sink to maximize use and accommodate even the largest kitchen and bakeware with no problem. Glazed in classic white, this sink is timeless in its styling and unbeatable in its functionality! Fireclay is a naturally quiet material and does not require rubber pads for sound dampening, unlike stainless steel. Optional grid available sold separately/not included.

Add character to your kitchen workspace with its generous bowl size. There are many benefits to fireclay. Its glazed surface inhibits bacterial growth more than stainless steel. It is eco-friendly requiring fewer cleansers. Due to the firing process, dimensions are nominal and may vary to actual up to 0.25". A custom apron cabinet is required for this sink. *A note about fireclay sinks: due to the curing process, small surface cracks typically appear on the underside of the sink. These cosmetic flaws are from the molding process and do not affect the performance or visible luster of the sink.

Setting this up for the purpose of the using it to store dry snacks and minimize our current chaos. The dimensions are a good size. I haven't fully finished it up yet as I didn't have a stapler but do have the other tools required. I plan to top it with a butcher block which should pair well with my envisioned vibe. The process of the instructions seems informative enough though they were torn. Much better instructions than some other companies provide. Overall packaging is good, everything is included and packed in seperated boxes with protective material. The quality feels sturdy. I like the clean lines and how the white looks. Due to the firing process, dimensions are nominal and may vary to actual up to .25". A Custom cabinet is required to support the weight of this sink. The minimum cabinet width recommended is 40". If a plain apron is shown, a small bowl will be on the left. A decorative apron showing a small bowl will be on the right.
