He stated that the directions were not included so he had to look them up. It took longer than expected but after fully assembled there were no real issues. The unit does not have a top because it is meant to go under a counter top. The finish is decent. I love this fridge. It looks sleek and the middle drawer is super convenient. We use it for drinks not as vegetable drawer. The fridge is smaller but works fine for 2 people.
