We purchased this 48" hood to accompany the 48" range. It works so well - whenever I have it on - you have to really push to open the front door to the house! Any odors, steam, etc is gone!! I have only used the range top for a couple of weeks but it is great! The simmer and low are actually lower heat than the high heat which on some gas ranges I have used before there was little difference. The build quality is great and everything has been thought out. I installed the unit myself and ducting and mount points were in perfect spots and worked perfect.
