I’ve owned the fridge for about 3 weeks and it is a solid upgrade. PROS: It looks great and elevates the look of the kitchen to gourmet. The water/filter quality is top tier and the auto sense fill feature saves time when filling up a glass or a measuring cup. And of course it chills and freezes nicely with features that boost the capability for special circumstances such as installation or recovering from a power outage. CONS. It’s missing a few “normal folks” features that I’ve enjoyed over the years and that I would expect for the cost. 1. It is massive and takes 4-6 people to deliver it; annotate that during delivery or they won’t send enough people to get it off the truck. Also, installation and haul away aren’t included. Be prepared to pay a few hundred extra. 2. The door isn't magnetized - so it won’t hold a magnet. 3. Seems good so far, with some caveats. The door and the frame came in good condition. Unfortunately there are absolutely NO instructions. Other reviewers complained that there were no pre-drilled holes. It took a bit of trying before I figured out how to attach the hinges and drill the holes in the doors and frame. So that was not a problem. However, there are two major problems: 1. There are absolutely no instructions on how to adjust the tension in the hinges. I had to spend a lot of time on youtube to get some information though nothing specific to these particular hinges which are different from what I could see, so, even though my doors are installed, they do not swing perfectly. I asked a builder to take a look and adjust them. 2. There's absolutely nothing for attaching the frame to the wall, not only no pre-drilled holes but no suggestions on how to do it either. In the end I just drilled 3 holes in each frame and screwed them to the wall. You need very long screws as you need to get them through the longest side of the frame.
