We have several birdfy feeders now around our house. So far this one has been great - the camera is clear & picks up movement just like the others do, and the reservoir holds a good amount of nectar for whoever wants to stop by. That being said, some improvements it could use: - the unit is light enough that hanging it as it is will allow it to blow around in a strong enough wind. We'll probably put a 4x4 post in the ground and velcro the feeder to the top of the post. For future iterations of this they may want to go with a different support system. - it states that it's ant-resistant. We haven't had any big ants end up in the nectar, but I have had some smaller ants drown, so it should probably get a few improvements in that area All in all, we're happy with our purchase. The grid is powder-coated metal allowing for birds to slip through easily and protect them from predators. The feeder can hold 1.25 lbs. of birdseed. The tube itself is made from durable ABS plastic and features 4 different feeding stations. Many of your favorite songbirds can slip in but larger birds like doves, bluejays, and grackles will have to find another place to feed.

This is the perfect cage for the Painted Bunting birds to keep the big birds from getting inside their caged feeder. My husband LOVES watching the birds in the backyard. I thought he would enjoy this bird feeder when the weather is rough and he cannot sit outside. He decided our bedroom window is where he wanted it and proceeded to install. It had a gap on the top that he somehow fixed. I think some cuts were involved. Please be advised that it may need some alterations to fit in your space as well. As far as quality goes, this is an all wooden feeder. It is beautifully made-nice quality.
