This piece is unbelievably beautiful. The shade is like a little piece of artwork. I included a picture of the original shade that came with my house so that you can see the size difference. Everything was already threaded the only thing that I think could be a problem is if you wanted to shorten the length of the pendant light, you have to thread everything to take out the centerpiece of the post. Beautiful vase! Heavy and well made, really very striking in person, it reminds me of looking out into the ocean. I do wish it had more yellows and greens like in the product photos, the black was quite strong and caught me off guard but I still very much love this piece.
