Beautiful doors. Looked for a long time to find bi-pass doors that didn't have horizontal handles that would detract from the newly tiled shower Love the roller style. Looks more modern than other slider doors with enclosed track. Doors feel very solid. What was not obvious from the pictures or description is the handles are actually thin pcs of metal that are double side taped to the doors. Barely enough room to get your fingertips on them. If your doors aren't mounted level so they roll properly, you will have a tough time moving them. Won't be conducive to older hands being able to grip them. Additionally, inspect closely before you spend time getting installed. Had several very obvious blemishes in the brushed nickel frame. The marks are black so they stand out. Pros: The weight of the door is good if you upgrade to the thicker glass. The overall look is nice. Cons: The rollers are uneven and loud, the installer said they are on the cheaper side and expected higher quality from Kohler. The two doors have different opacity in the frosting with the permanent one frosted and the roller door more see through. The black lines are not metal lining as we expected but instead black paint inside the glass. Installation is incredibly difficult and took our experienced contractor over 5 hours and continual frustration. Overall, it is an OK door for the price but left a lot to be desired.. Frosty323.
