I purchased this not to replace a water haven set-up but just to replace same shower head (without ball connector) to the shower arm with ball socket. At the time I didn't know the shower arm was standard connection to the riser so a replacement arm and replacement head would have worked rather than this kit. The kit worked but after unscrewing the ball socket from the shower arm the adaptor wasn't able to be threaded because the points of the hexagonal nut protruded too far so I filed them down until it threaded in.
